The seminar was organized by the Center of Studies of Economic Culture (Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences), Smolny College (St. Petersburg ) jointly with CSDSI NES (Moscow ) and “Leontief Centre” (St. Petersburg )
The Workshop is a continuation of the international scientific conference “The role of the history and diversity in understanding economic development”, Moscow, October 9-10.
The papers were presented by the following speakers:
- Jean Philippe Plateau - professor emeritus of the Center for Development Economics Research, University of Namur, Belgium
- Tommy Murphy - economic historian at the University of Bocconi, Italy
- Saumitra Jha – professor at Stanford University, an expert on the political economy of South Asia
- Hosni Zoabi - Associate Professor of Macroeconomics at NES, a senior fellow at Fox.
